Over Spring break, I went to Vegas for the first time and it didn’t disappoint! There are so many hotels with casinos, each with its own theme, shows, restaurants, and shopping. Being from New York, the strip felt like Time Square on steroids because there were bright lights, tons of people walking around, and so much fun stuff to do. It is definitely a relative of the city that never sleeps.
Of course I had to check out the Bellagio fountains that are , which were beautiful and amazing. The fountains are choreographed to different songs and it creates a very romantic ambiance.
When every I go somewhere that has a Margaritaville I try to stop by! I love the fun beachy atmosphere. I know I’ll enjoy great drinks, good music, and delicious food here.
Sin City is full of places to find a drinks. I think it’s always 5 o’clock everywhere in Vegas. This was a delicious Coconut Margarita that I had at Cabo Wabo!
During the day in Vegas, we either explored the strip and the casinos or lounged by the pool with a few drinks. This is the New York New York roller coaster. It’s a key part of the strip, just like the Cyclone is at Coney Island.
My two favorite pools in Vegas were at the Hard Rock and Caesars. Who wouldn’t want to spend the day at either of these places? The Hard Rock is a young, fun, party atmosphere, where there is a live DJ, Rehab cocktails, like my favorite the Tropical Punch, and VIP lounges in the sand. Caesars is also fun with bar service, table games in the pool, and cabanas. But it was definitely a more beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.

If you are a Beatles fan, then you definitely have to see the Cirque du Soleil Love show! It is amazing! The music is great and the performers are out of this world. We also went to Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club! I am a huge fan of the Everybody Loves Raymond TV show and Brad Garrett was hysterical. I could not stop laughing during Ralph Harris’s set. He is a great comedian and I cannot wait for his new show to come to NYC.
Vegas was great and I can’t wait to go back! Next time I go I want to try to stay in a different hotel and take a trip to see the Hoover Dam or the Grand Canyon. I think that it will take multiple trips back before I can ever possibly see everything Vegas has to offer.
Quick fact about me: My game of choice is Blackjack!
